Hans' career stretches from production design to art direction while granting a vast array of industry clients, application and design technique, a benefit to any company. Hans' education began in the foothills of Nepal and continued on the bridges and in the forests of Portland, Oregon, to PNCA where he studied as a BFA contract major of Graphic & Multimedia Design from 1995-1999. Hans returned to Nepal and Bhutan in 1998 for both internship and thesis work. Hans' internship, in Nepal, included helping a startup large-format print and advertisement company get started. He learned the equipment, trained the staff and designed the first ads. While in Bhutan, studying for his thesis, he learned about the vast historical art, sculptures and religious illustrations and their ties to the culture. Hans is currently living in Portland but conducts business by tele-commute to clients in Hawaii, Seattle, Phoenix, LA and New York City. Hans' resume and the included portfolio includes branding and promotional design for clients of Right Brain Resource, 16 Copenhagen, Via Training, Creative Assets, Robert Haft International and the small to mid sized clients of his design firm MOD Inc. Hans likes to stay busy with design projects of all sorts.
